Are prostitutes & call girls the same or similar ? Is prostitution legalised in some countries & not in some ?

I know many people from my country (India) have paid sex, but I ask you all here ... is it an illegal thing to do because I have heard that sometimes police give unexpected raids ? But if someone is staying alone he can call a call girl home. Have also heard & know that Thailand (& esp. Bangkok) is a special place for these types of activities (I mean massage parlours & also red light areas) & most of their clients are American...no offence, though. Do u personally feel paid sex is a ok thing or a bad thing to do...esp. all married people (doesn't matter whether u r male or female).....

  1. Prostitutes or call girls are the same thing. Usually call girls are classier and more attractive.

Many countries in Europe have legalized and licensed prostitution. I the US the only state to have legal prostitution is Nevada. There are states such as Texas and New York that have such inconsequential penalties that it is basically legal while other states make you register as a sex offender for the rest of your life. So the penalties vary.

Although I have never visited a prostitute I guess I do not have a real problem with it. It is called the worlds oldest profession, people are not likely to stop this activity anytime soon.

As long as I do not have to see it and they are discrete I could care less what people do.

  2. Yep, prostitution is legal in Nevada. But smoking where they serve food is not, LOL!!! Go figure…

  3. Prostitute is a general term. Call girl comes from the fact that this particular type of prostitute would be summoned by a Phone call, hence, ‘call girl’.
In Thailand, most ladies of the night are working to earn an education, and money to give as dowry to a husband. Most of these girls are only ‘temporary’, and on their way to better lives.
Prostituion in Thailand, like Greece, and Nevada, are regulated and inspected for the protection of the girls.
Look in the Bangkok Metro Phone Book under ‘escorts’ or ‘massage’.

  4. Personally I don’t understand why it is illegal anywhere. Making it illegal is basically a government imposing their moral values on the public in a situation where no harm is caused. Both parties go through with it willingly, and it should be a matter of their own personal morality. I can’t see myself ever being with a prostitute because it seems dishonest and it cheapens your sexuality. But criminilizing people for entering a voluntary act in the privacy of their own home should never happen. That’s the government overstepping its bounds and trying to impose an ideology on all of its citizens.

  5. Yes it is the same, while they are just called in different name as the situation goes. Is it legalized is some countries? YES of course, some are even given card and pay taxes. One of the best example is COPENHAGEN, I think this is part of the Netherlands. A Dutch speaking countries. They have establishment in the one corner of town, when the night comes they are just like toys inside a department store in glasses, all one have to do is walk just like window shopping, these girls are inside the glass window, if you like what you see there is the door to enter & have sex with one of the girls you fancy. Simple right? You got what they want, and they got what you need. Money from you and sex from them. They are clinically examine by competent doctors but surely they required still the condom. If the person refuse to wear one then he is thrown out of the establishment. House rules.

You also site Thailand for their night life, yes they have one but it is not only the country in question for sex destination there are other countries with these kind of reputation. My country is one of them but I do not like to mention the name, what for. So to answer your question do I personally feel that paid sex is ok or alright or it is a bad thing to do.

Well to tell you frankly it DEPENDS on every person who indulged or go to these places, if they want too they can and if they are single why not. So asking if it is ok or not is not really the issue here, I cannot tell you that people who go here are BAD people, I cannot judge them for their own act. Personally I didnot experience it before I get married, although I love to go and have one, but due to diseases I declined. It is only after married life that I experience one incident regarding massage parlor only once, just to experience it. Am I condemn? So it is all up to the person, we all know what is RIGHT or WRONG so I do not think we have to be advice on this.
